Organized and led by the English Division Pediatric Oncology Scientific Circle of the
Medical University of Gdansk
We would like to introduce the first Oncological Student Scientific Conference (OSSC) with the goal of bringing together like-minded individuals and peers in academia. Our objective is to strengthen the Medical Student society. As one of the first English Division scientific
circles at the Medical University of Gdansk, we have had a history of excellence and would like to build upon that strong foundation. With the hard work of previous years we have developed a strong community. This conference will provide a unique opportunity for us to combine perspectives from both English Division and Polish Division education in medical science within eminent universities across Poland. Let us learn from each other’s work and ask ourselves how we can better prepare for our future in the medical field. We are also encouraged to make such events a normal and easily accessible feature of this university.
We welcome both undergraduate and recent graduate students studying in any healthcare field. Students who wish to develop their research and presentation skills, network with like-minded peers and professionals, and learn from distinguished leaders in small group workshops or during our keynote lectures. Students who currently don’t have research ready to present, are welcome to join us as passive participants. All events will be conducted in english but we welcome students from all nationalities.
